The YOUTH Paper serves over 50 countries worldwide with 90% of each quarter's production going to 27 nations in Africa.

Circulation:

Our usual mailing list is 10,000 subscribers receiving 55-75,000 copies.

Who receives the YOUTH paper?

Students and teachers in primary schools, colleges and universities; professional people; the military and prisoners; pastors, evangelists and Christian workers--anyone who reads English.

Funding:

The YOUTH Paper Ministry is a faith work and has been from its inception 41 years ago. The number of copies we send out per quarter depends on the gifts of Christian people whose hearts the Lord has burdened for sharing their faith through literature. YOUTH is sent free of charge to all who request it. Because the paper needs to be subsidized in the homeland, we endeavor to involve the Body of Christ to make it free to overseas recipients.

History:

Words are powerful. King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, said: The tongue has the power of life and death.  That's awesome power!

Whether spoken or written, words penetrate deeply and influence irresistibly.
The success of Communist propaganda is a 20th century example. Communism's use of literature helped overthrow many nations. The printed word helped soften the people to communism and weakened their resistance to it.

I witnessed first hand the results of propaganda while a school teacher in Liberia, West Africa. I made several friends among the Liberian teachers at Summer School which I attended for several years. One summer everyone avoided me. I was puzzled until I learned that a successful propaganda campaign had prevailed. Many educated people in the country claimed to be Communists.

After an unsuccessful coup d'etat in November 1961, I prayed, Lord, what do you want me to do to stem the tide of Communism and challenge our students to dedicate themselves to Jesus Christ instead of Communist masters?

This idea came: Prepare leaflets as the Communists do, and indoctrinate for Jesus Christ.

One month later, the YOUTH paper was born. One hundred sheets were laboriously duplicated and distributed to our schools throughout Liberia. Passed from hand to hand, the YOUTH paper found its way to many other schools in the country. Soon we were duplicating a thousand copies!

Now, 44 years later, we print 55-85,000 quarterly, sending the YOUTH Paper to over 50 nations world-wide.

Whether you can assist us in this life-changing ministry or not, I hope you take time to read our testimonies, articles and Bible studies.

Sincerely,
